Need help with customs

I am going over to overseas so maybe I could be bring back some antique swords or other things for display . So how do I know if this can bring into singapore or not . How do I check ? Like what number should I call and ask if things like that can be bring over to singapore .

U will need to obtain a permit from Singapore Police Force. Upon your return, you will need to show the permit to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority officers (more commonly known by public as Customs) stationed at the Airport for their clearance. If you do not have clearance from SPF and is found to bring in such items, you might be detained and hand over to SPF for investigations. Anyway you will have to inform the airlines when you bring those items on board anyway.

their checking sometimes not consistent, as fren gonna search at customs (oso dunno y)
they say its unfair as there r peak periods that rules r bent -
We have to be fair to the officers you cannot expect them to search everyone. Just imagine the long q..... thus have to use risk management like what overseas doing I think... by profiling and random checks. Random checks think quite effective as no one knows when and who will be checked. Thus potential smugglers will have no way to dress or act in a certain way to avoid detection. For permit from SPF, think better to go to SPF website and look for their email to email to.
