I simply do not know what the goverment is think of. Its simply so ridiculous for being unable to smoke at kopitiam, disco and ktv pubs. After a hard day work, people go to these places to relax themselves, take a drink and have a nice puff as well. But imagine now these people had to go walk out all the way juz to take a puff. What kinda STUPID law is this! The goverment might as well ban smoking in singapore since theres so many cons in it. Stupid PM.. eversince he came to place..theres been so many stupid changes to sg. PRICES ARE ON THE RISE FOR EVERYTING oso. The government is making life harder and harder for us singaporeans liao. If the next election is comming, im sure i will not vote on the PAP. Things must start to change for the moment le. PAP has been ruling for too long le.

I am all for this law. Smoking should not only be banned in Kopitiams and Pubs, it should be banned in the country, just like chewing gum. Only then will non smokers like me be able to have a breath of fresh air. I dun mind smokers, as long as they are "zi tong" and move somewhere else to smoke, but there are too many people out there who smoke right in front of peoples faces. If they wanna get cancer they can get it and die themselves, please dun make others get it too.

well if govenment wants to draw yellow boxes for smokers just beside the traffic lights, I will raise my both hands to show my agreement. Just as SBS said, if they want to smoke, go ahead, but dun do it at public.

either you drive a 5 yrs car and below or all 10 yrs car must pump V-power to reduce smoke emmission... hahaha..

Eat fatty food will get colon/intestinal cancer and heart attacks
Sex cause aids, cancers and other STDs
Age cause cancer everwhere
Stress cause cancer anytime, anywhere
Unhealthy lifestyle cause cancer, stroke, heart attacks ...
Its not just smoke.. so why don't the gov be less of a hypocrite and say up fron they are communist and prejudiced pretending to be democratic.
I am beginning to think that we will never escape the nanny state, instead is going deeper and deeper... but then the people does not ever get to vote and also really, everyone gungho when it comes to voicing opinions but when voting, still lan lan, vote back the same party. -
its all a game of satisfying one group and making the other group give way lor for the so called common good...
hence since they consider smoking to be an undesirable trait, we are the ones that have to make way for all other kopitiam users, bus stop users, and so on and so forth.
voting in singapore is also a sham. no mp will stand up for smokers anyway. smokers will not have our say cos we r condemned already. its presumed we can never learn to be considerate to non smokers. -
