Banning comics in spore

Its in the news. Govt are banning comics with nude exposure, violent contain and vugalrities.Comics reader should know that almost every comics would contain a little of such things.
Now the govt has implied such a law,i guess we all can only read pokemon from this day onwards.

Isnt it funny that that the govt actually allow mens magazines such as FHM and gay party but yet restrict on this?

All the 'mens' magazines are censored for the locals anyway.
Even the stories you get are santised [i've seen some talking about knitting, i swear..] local ones for local people
So FHM is hardly a reasonable example these days [i recall the imported ones either having black pen all over them or pages ripped out]
i think they target the comics as the children like to read 'comics' even if they arent childrens comics [ie. mature content manga for adults/older readers]
mind you, if i remember my comic reading days as a youngster it was all war, death, and screaming nightmares.. [i take it the infamous scream never made it to Singapore in the 80's..] -
If u want those..smuggle them in man like what i bought the porn DVD from m'sia & managed to smuggle them in...........

strange lor. yesterday the news say students renting "porn comics", and the mother said there's sex in it, so i think they'll only ban those with intercourse bah. and i dont know why they censored the pic in the news...comic nude girls got draw nipple 1 meh?

so many comics more or less got a little exposure de mah... and i always go for comics with chio bu and got naked scene lolz. -

They have to be kidding right? Anyway most manga and anime is meant for adults not kids
If they want to impose censorship, why not just limit it to the SG printed ones by Chuang Yi and not hurt those who pay a premium for the imported ones from HK and Taiwan.
I agree there is slight nudity but the artists censor it in a way (usually have hair or mist covering) unless you mean the hentai ones. -
