According to my sincere and honest point of view, it should be shut down , reasons stated are clearly listed below
1)It does not promotes the original meaning of sex
Sex is meant to be enjoyed between loving couples and after marriage only.Why does it occur ? It robs women of their innocence.
2)It does not warn the users of the consequences of sex
Singapore already has thousands of A.I.D.S sufferers and just take a look at those people suffering from it, to enjoy their last days,they spread everyone with it.
3)It promotes promiscuity and goes against the government's idea of a family life
A ideal family life, is to have probably a few members of the family, enjoying with the kids, going out with them , having fun , cycling, taking care of the wife.
4)It degrades and stereotypes women
Just look at it, it makes women seems like sex providers and toys, does not give rise to the true dignity of women.
5)Purpose
The purpose of sgforums.com is to share their views etc , but just look at our community, so many people losing job, so many pple losing their families , and life savings due to these con women . Real men are losing their purpose in life to get sexually satisfied. Do you all think it is right?
6)Moral Ethics and Values
Our asian moral ethnics and values teach us to be free from the grasp of prostitution , yet our "famous" Geyland and Desker road indicates that we are very sexually active , we should be active in promoting our nation and our nation's health depends on how we manage it , if we were to allow brothels and casinos, would singapore be a better place to stay in?
Just like we include counselling for married men...isn't it too late?
Just like introducing drugs and building "cold turkey" to help drug addicts?
Why not ban these kind of forums which promotes illicit sex trade?
7) No wonder they call prostitution the "most oldest trade"
Why? Cause men's need has to be fulfilled , and it is very sad that it existed during the start of time
Then , how can men fulfill themselves?
Stick to one partner always. Be faithful . If sex life is boring , do not find someone else outside, but the re-invent theways of doing it.
There is something called personal achievement , there are other things like working hard, doing business, reading books to keep your time off it , like playing sports with the kids.

I was proposing that sammyboyforums.com should be shut down not for adult content , but for encouraging illicit sex in GL.
Adult content is already very unacceptable , but the promotion of sex through the net , is the worst. -

I don't know how will this thread make you a more intelligent person in my view.
But like you say. Your view covers only a portion of the sphere, you haven't got into the reality of why the old trades still thrive until now, you haven't got any idea why people(men) are so into fornication and casual sex or into prostitution.
In fact, you haven't seen much of the world. Sheltered and ideal your views are. How many families have you seen producing the 'ideal values in home'?
If family values are simply degraded by prostitution and sammyboy website? How simple your mind.
In your views, tell me those you've seen which are affected by the above causes and i'll tell you what i've seen and known.
If there is no brothels, would Singapore be a better place to live in?
