Is this an antique law on Oral?

‘Unnatural Offences’, as described in Section 377. Penal Code
" Whoever voluntarily has carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animals, shall be punished with imprisonment for life, or with imprisonment for a term which may extend to ten (10) years, and shall also be liable to a fine. "
This law is used in the cases for oral sex.
Is it an antiqued law, or is it still relevant? What do you think? -

in any case, consensual oral sex may be decriminalised. there's a review going on. -
If both of you are consenting adults, maybe you can try reporting him to the police and be a test case. The judiciary is undecided on its position for consenting adults, maybe you can be a catalyst for them to decide.
But I pity the guy you report. -

anal sex is still consider "illegal" in the eye of law but oral sex acting as foreplay and leads to sexual intercourse (must leads to) is perfectly fine.
sex w/o oral is like eating rice w/o dishes, it does offer what you need but doesn't offer you enough to satisfied your urge... try it and you'll never do without it in future... -

You are right that the courts are clear on legality of oral sex. It is a strict liabillity offence, and illegal for both persons engaging in it, even if consenting. Let me rephrase by saying that they are reviewing the law and might change it.

FYI, many of the laws in the common law system had christian influence. Take the oral sex law for instance, the mouth was created for food and drinks and not for sexual purposes, therefore considered an "unnatural" use of an organ if done in isolation of intercourse.
If done with intercourse, then it is part of natural act of pro-creation and sexual intimacy, therefore considered legal. -
