Breaking into email. Possible? Even for hotmail etc?

Hey guys,
I come across forum threads which carry ads that say they can break into hotmail/yahoo etc addresses. There are even websites (like www.crackspider.com or http://www.hackv2.tk/)
Anyway they all seem to say the same kinda thing. That they will give you :
a) Proof of the hack into the targeted email address
b) And only then do you have to pay them
They all ask for :
a) Your name and email address
b) Your target name and email address
c) Your country (I dont understand why)
They NEVER ask for your password, so its not a scam...
OR is it? I dont know. Thats why I write this post.
Does anyone know if this is just a con job? Or can anyone see or think of how this can be used maliciously? -

Not me who wants to. Maybe I wasn't clear.
I read tech forums alot. In these, the more fun ones are written under the hacker discussion rooms. Lots of neat tricks like easter eggs, etc.
Anyway, in these, there's always an ad or some reference to the topic of breaking into someone's hotmail account.
And I was just curious. Its obviously a scam. But i just cant figure it out. How will these people get something from you? What is the trick? What do they hope to achieve? etc
Dont you think we should be all aware of the latest scams and tricks on the net?
Thats all.
I dont care to see anyone's mail dude.
But I do care if I'm the victim!
Just want to know thats all.
