we do share our lives, update each other, talk to each other bout wats happening everyday and goals in life; but not being together...so as to say, i have no status as his gf, nor he as my bf, but we are more than friends....

My friend told me that it's easier to have a "F-buddy", than getting into a long term relationship. His reason is the usual "get's in the way of climbing the corp. ladder, too much effort and lack of freedom".
Don't think it's the right approach, but he says it's better than ONS or visits to geylang. -
