got this problem of crooked spinal cord.. dunno wad hump thingy~ :
found out this problem during my sec 2 check up. like to know issit the cause of not growing taller. stuck at around 166 for a few years liao !#$#%@$^(&@%# .. help!! ! -

definately got problem la..
better go for CAT scan or X-ray..
maybe u have a dislocated bone?.
coz later on u might get paralyzed if the problem is not recified.. -
o.O spine problem can lead to paralyse. danger seh.

yup..dislocated bones on the spine can cause u to be hunch back or even unable to walk..then too late liow lo..

If u can wait till now then complain of it means no big deal so dun worry.

Scoliosis is not heriditary....dun worry. It is curvature of the spine sideways...ie when u look at e person from behind, u see a mild "S" shape. It it is very serious it would have been operated on after they detected u while in school.

usually schools would provide physical checks for spine problem and recomend to Ministry of Health.
They would x-ray and recommend a brace if the spine bending angle is not greater than a certain degree. Too big a bend degree would requires surgery.
Brace would be required up to your growing age (16+)
Braces recommended by MOH is usually the rigid type; like ninja turtle.
But there is a softer alternative, still undergoing testing. -

when the body grows, you would need to change this rigid brace again

I think you shld go had a body check up first. As for ur short height, its 99% due to the gene passed down from ur parents. At 166cm is still ok since the national average is 170cm for man, slightly below average.
