Chanel 8 or Chanel U which is the one you most fav of

  had been enjoying these two chanel,but over the time felt there is a gap in between,i means the standard of making or doing a drama or show,whats is your point of view,which you think is better? How can we help so our showbiz in Singapore could improve,if our showbiz improve think it could also contribute to the people and the nation too,quote for improvement cheers

  i like channel U ... but i like them the period before mediacrap take over ... so refreshing and funny
  
  take for example taiwan varieties ... it makes ppl laugh and ponder into real life stuff ... ch8 ?? full of crap serials ... so fake and meaningless most of the time

  Based on the qn.. I would choose channel U. Chn U has better entertainment value IMO.
  
  In reality, I hardly watch these two channels.. usually cable tv.

  ch8's variety r CMI....often very commercialised.For eg those slim programs back by jean yip blablabla...something like extreme make over.Their variety lacks creativity,y we r seeing PSC nite so long?so boring kids singing blabla..then there's those nv ending travel shows....omg.Ch U seems better.Though they2 have merged,i wonder if there r 2 diff teams within the tv station competing

  Both got pro and con....... but i notice ch8 is mostly singapore based programme while channel u is mostly oversea programmes so it based on each individual i tink

  For chanel U true before they merge they are a lot better,but after they merge
  Chanel U even local show also good,Chanel 8 also got lots of oversea show,at the end of the day got competition got improvement,but they claim that our local showbiz cant have competition cause Singapore too small,but i think our local showbiz too calculative liao,start for a while only merge liao,sometimes in life cant do without competition,there is certain things also cant use figure to count,if it is so easy than our showbiz in Singapore fly liao.
  
  just hope we could continue the improvement and not stopping it or restraining it from growing
