Tony and Shu Qi confess their Lust
HONG KONG - Actor Tony Leung Chiu Wai admitted on Sunday that he has met director Lee Ang and wants to work with him.
But he would not confirm reports that he may take part in Lee's upcoming spy thriller Lust, Caution, saying 'I'll let him announce everything else'.
Leung was speaking at a press conference for an upcoming film, Confession Of Pain.
Scheduling may be a problem. Confession, which has not started filming, is expected to take two months, while Lust, Caution - adapted from a short story by Chinese writer Eileen Chang - is expected to start shooting in the fall.
The HK$80-million (S$16 million) Confession also stars Taiwanese actress Shu Qi, Taiwanese-Japanese heartthrob Takeshi Kaneshiro and Chinese actress Xu Jinglei.
Directed by Andrew Lau and Alan Mak, it is about a police officer who seeks revenge for a family tragedy.
Shu Qi said she looked forward to shooting an intimate scene with Kaneshiro.
'He is the most handsome in Asia. Before filming, I gave Andrew Lau a red packet to get him to put in an intimate scene for us,' she said. -
