A 15-YEAR-OLD girl was allegedly raped by three boys - one of whom was her elder godbrother - within a year.
The three boys were yesterday charged with having sex with a minor, reported Lianhe Wanbao.
The 15-year-old girl made a police report on 24 Mar, claiming she was raped.
The girl claimed that the culprits were her ex-classmates.
The girl will turn 16 only in November.
Under the law, it is an offence to have sex with girls below the age of 16.
Between March and April last year, the girl is said to have had sex with her two 17-year-old male friends at a friend's home in north-east Singapore.
In March this year, she made a police report alleging that she had been raped.
Then, three days after that police report, the girl said she had sex with her 18-year-old godbrother at his home, which is also in the north-east, reported Lianhe Wanbao quoting court papers.
It was not reported if the girl made a separate report about her godbrother.
The 17-year-olds said in court that they would plead guilty, and their case has been transferred to the Community Court for further mention next Monday.
The Community Court began operations in June this year. It deals with youthful offenders aged between 16 and 18, offenders with mental disabilities, neighbourhood disputes, attempted suicide cases, family violence, sex offences committed by youths, abuse and cruelty to animals, and cases involving race relations.
The boys were offered bail of $6,000 each.
While the younger boys did not have a lawyer, the 18-year-old godbrother was represented.
The godbrother's case will be mentioned again on Wednesday.
Lianhe Wanbao reported that the three boys appeared confused and angry when the charges were read out to them yesterday.
When their names were called, the three youths appeared confused.
The 18-year-old is now out on bail.
When asked if he intended to plead guilty, one of the 17-year-olds said: 'I don't know. I need to consult my mother first.'
Minutes later, he said he would plead guilty.

Moral of story : the 3 boys in this case might not be the 1 at fault. it could be that the girl actually provocate them. it could be that the girl has dressed so little when shes alone with the guys that made those guys canot tahan her temptations. If the girl really did not have sex with them willingly she shldnt have dressed in such a way or acted in such a way to tempt them. It takes 2 hands to clap. -
