1. If you can kiss any guy in the world, who would it be?
Hollywood actor Tom Hanks. I like the mature yet sexy type, and he fits the bill. Too bad he's married.
Japanese actor and singer Takuya Kimura, too, if I can choose one more. He's so dashing.
2. You have locked lips on stage with female singers like Stefanie Sun and Tanya Chua for fun. Who or what would you not kiss?
Although my name is Fish, I can't bear the thought of kissing a fish. How does one pick up a fish from the tank and kiss it?
That goes for turtles, snakes and other cold-blooded animals. Give me cats and dogs anytime.
3. You are known as the Queen of Love Ballads. Ever thought of singing songs of other genres?
I like to think I'm doing what I am suited for. If I start doing hip-hop or dance numbers, I think my fans will go into shock (laughs).
I prefer music that is not so noisy, like folk or jazz. To me, music must have a lasting effect - it should grow on you.
Noisier sounds like metallic rock or techno are more for clubbing environments, which I don't enjoy going to.
4. At your concert here last year, two men proposed to their girlfriends. Would you want your future boyfriend to do a similar public declaration of love?
I would be very upset if he did. I'd rather have a simple wedding proposal than a big and elaborate one.
All the guy has to do is to get a small bouquet of flowers and a ring, and kneel before me. If I love him, I'd be sold.
5. Is marriage a must for you?
Yes. I'm traditional when it comes to that. I believe it is part of the natural progression of life. So now, if I go on a date, it would be on the assumption that the guy could be my future husband.
