Question/Dilemma in a rainy day in Singapore

Would u offer shelter to a fellow pedestrian with your unbrella while say walking along a path or waiting for the green light if the other party is naked to the downpour?
I was thinking if ask the other person might think 'What the..
If dun ask the other person might think 'So selffish'

met with few good-hearted people who offer to me before..so think i will do the same if i met with the same... -
if the person is along i will, without even asking, done it a couple of times,
if there are a lot of people with no brollys, i will try to help the aged and the needy like mothers with children or pregenant ladies -
Gals maybe different.
But if guy offer guy then a bit..... -

anyway i'm not an umbrella carrier, so no probs there... and since i'm a guy i dun think a girl would offer me hers to share. if she did well i'm not that stuck up and manly, i'd get under the umbrella! why the f not?? hehehe

this kind of question is like "would you give up your seat on a bus?"
for me it will depend on who that person is lor, sometimes you kena scolded instead, but sometimes you know you are doing the right thing when you see the grateful look on the person's face
the strong should help the weak, those who have help those who don't. that's civilisation.

i think maybe if a girl to offer would be easier.. can offer to guy or gal... for me, i have ever done that before lor.. but then the guy try to be gung ho.. say he don't need.. so i
nothing to say...in the end, i feel so paiseh.. but then there is another incident where a guy tried to offer me, so i ok lor... then i think he tried to 'take advantage' of me... put his hands on my shoulder and ask me to stand closer and tried to strike a conversation trying to know me blah blah... so if a guy would to offer me..i think i would hesitate for a while lor... -
i always dun bring umbrella go out one...
a few times some "stranger" did share his/her umbrella with me lah......such as crossing over to the bus-stop...or going in the same direction...
i have no chance to do this to other ppl cos i dun carry umbrella!.....duH~ -
