  Due to too many requests for the pix, all you have to do is use a search engine and key in 'Rape in Indonesia' or Rape in Singapore' and you will find lots of stuff there.
  
  I started this thread after coming some old images of the Mass Rapes in Indonesia.
  
  It was not started as a celebration of rape, or to get kicks out of it.
  
  What I saw was shocking...and even if some of the images are hoaxes, the hundreds and thousands victims' shattered lives and families aren't.
  
  There are so many kinds of rape: date rape, blind rape (the victim does not know the attcker), child rape...perhaps the dead victims of the mass rape in Indonesia were lucky - they did not have to relive the nightmare over and over again for the rest of their shattered lives.

  Singapore, while a safe and 'quiet' country, is NOT free from rape and other violent crimes. Over the festivities, and most recently, Chinese New Year, I am sure there were many incidences of times when a girl gets high, loses her inhibitions (and better judgement) and invites trouble, or creates opportunities for trouble to prey on her.
  
   
  
  "How many girls were raped or molested during the festivities?" We won't know, they normally suffer in silence - their lives destroyed. While nowhere as gruesome as the rapes in Indonesia, the rapes that happen here in Singapore are no less damaging.
  
   
  
  I know...for I have had friends who were raped.  Some of them have not 'recovered' till now - even though they were raped more than 10 years ago!

  p.s. The international controversy created by the media and circulated over the internet regading the Mass Indonesian Rapes, and RAPE IN SINGAPORE can still be found on the internet. The attached photos may or may not be real, but is that really the point? Rape is STILL RAPE!
