Hmm...I think people who are adventurous do prefer backpacking cause you got to see what your tourguides don't show you. Knowing the people culture is my main aim.Originally posted by GIJOE:What kinda levels are u refering to? i believe most of e people here are rather open and adventurous too. If u like thrills and bagpacking... try bringing e least amount of money u need and try to enjoy e most out of it. Of course not using visa for everything. that defeats e purpose. like sleeping on e beach..eating bread..walking..its a great experience. Think nowadays, people are living too comfortably. or try cycling up to malaysia n stuff like that.Originally posted by ZenMan:Hmm...I think people who are adventurous do prefer backpacking cause you got to see what your tourguides don't show you. Cheong? I used to cheong too. Have tried whatever activities, u name it, u got it. Try out the growing KL, just 3.5 hrs drive up north and you'll feel the great different between ours and theirs.
I've tried working while backpacking in thailand, I've tried working in the MOS, selling sg stuff in the bangkok weekend market....In indonesia, I've worked in their pubs too.Originally posted by GIJOE:If u like thrills and bagpacking... try bringing e least amount of money u need and try to enjoy e most out of it.
