Today tattoos are common on all men and women. Tattoos are made in a very colorful manner with designs that suit the person perfectly. I know that girls mostly prefer tattoo on their attractive body parts with beautiful flowers and several accessories around. I would like to get my first tattoo but one of my friend told me that guys do not like girls with tattoos. I do not think so, and i am just confused. Any help, would be great. Thanks in advance.
It's a subjective thing and just self preference. I don't mind if my girl gets a small tattoo on her knee or just above the ass. I think it's sexy.
I dun mind if she has....
but not her ex-boyfriend(s) name(s)....
Thats funny! I never get a tattoo with names. Thanks a lot for your response!

Getting yourself inked is a highly personal affair as the image is more or less permanent. You are getting a tattoo for yourself so I think you are asking the wrong question. The right questions should be what would you like to have on your body (words, image, symbols, etc) and what would this tattoo mean for you.
But to answer your question, I will say, with a limited sample size, that generally guys prefer girls who are not inked, at least not too visible. On the other hand, I have no preference over what a girl do to her own body. In fact, if her tattoo holds a deep meaning for her and has a great story behind it, it will be attractive.
Finally, the Singapore society is still relatively conservative, and tattoos may evoke perceptions of delinquency or gangs. You may want to consider that when deciding if you want to get one.

First you might want to think of something which holds much attraction to you, it may be a particular phrase, an image, or a symbol. Ideally it should be something which you like for a while (a few years or more).
Once you got it, you can choose the font type, or image/symbol design. If you have reservations on whether it will look nice on you, you may consider getting a temporary tattoo. Wear it a few days to a week and decide if you still love it.
Now that you are all set to get your first tattoo, choose a reputable tattoo artist. For goodness sake, please don't use those run-of-the-mill ah bengs who work in dingy tattoo parlours. Good tattoos are not cheap but they are not terribly pricey too. It depends on the complexity of the design, and to a certain extent the size. But if you do it cheap, you will probably look cheap with it.

Yes, if the area where you are inked shrink significantly.
