well i think it does matter for some people, of course you dont want the genration gap to be so wide do you? but it really depends on oneself. can be 0-1, or can be 5-6. for me... she can be older by 3-4 yrs, or younger by 5 yrs... but the person can be 16 yrs old but have a mature mind of an 18 yrs old.

i dun mind if my guy is older then me.. i think in terms of maturity much more easier to communicate.. same level of frequency.. BUT of course not too old.. 6 years should be fine with me as long i loves him...

if you are 16 yrs old, and you hang around with only 16 yr old, a bf/gf 5 yrs apart is a lot of diff

it really depends how u are at the moment.. the older u get, the age difference is neglible.. most importantly is that both of you share the same viewpoints about life..

I guess 6 years is alright. My bf is 5 years older than I am. But not the other way round. That is, I wouldnt want my bf to be younger than me.
