Dude, its not just here. its a common occurence with women all over the world. If you think this is bad, the women in America will chew your head off.
You have to know that most girls have their bitch shields up when clubbing. You either got to have the moves or looks. Its not only the women, observe the men as well. You'll notice that majority of them have this forced macho persona. It looks so bad it hurts.
Dont beat yourself up over this. If you want a more responsive atmosphere, try a scenario more conducive for conversation. -

ok, even if i dun sterotype, if a guys comes up to me, n i'm simply not interested in being friends wth him, i said no thanks, i wanna be left alone....if he smiles n walk away, i'm cool.....but IF he gets rude or nasty, i wun hesitate to fuck him off loud n clear..... -
