during lessons she wld sit back n listen to the teacher. while doing her work she wld lean forward to the table to write. her waist was so trim that it din obstruct her breathing even when perching her leg there. and here's the best part: occasionally she'd lean back to gossip wf her frens, n when she did she'd balance her chair on the hind legs, dislodge her right knee, n lift that leg even higher. when this seldom occurence happen, all wld be in full view.
my sitting position was in the front corner of the classroom, n the teacher had the habit of standing in the first row of tables during lessons, thus i always had to turn around during lessons and discussions--n became the onli person in class to know that she zao geng n also becoz things were onli visible frm my angle. since i discovered the view behind me, i simply turned my entire table to face sideways, n becoz of my sitting position it seemed perfectly reasonable so nobody questioned my axn.
as a hormonal teenager i ended up ogling at her EVERY single day. strangely, i never got tired of it. very soon, we had eye contact n she knew i was looking at her, since 7 out of 10 times she looked up my eyes were glued onto her--usually her legs. she knew i was looking at her n i believe she knew where i was looking. but she never complained, change her posture, or even wear shorts to cover up. i knew she wasnt pleased abt it but she never showed any sign of being upset either, quite unexpected since she was known to be really hard-headed. instead, she put on a dignified look and appeared very full of herself, almost as though she was daring me to look. and all the while i tot i was trying to get the msg thru to her that i din mind looking n she shld really cover up if she wanted to preserve her image.
we never confront each other abt it. we never spoke at all. that was due to a childish grudge we had in the past. for 2 years in the same class we never had a word of conversation. and so the treat she gave me lasted till the very last day of sch.
even till today, i nevered figured y she allowed it to happen. i have a theory: it's becos of her stubborness. she din want to change her posture as she saw that as going out of her way to give in to me, admitting defeat. it was meant to be a standoff btw us. it was stubborn, naive, juvenile and ultimately silly on her part. since by all conventions, i was the one taking advantage of her.
