  Anyone knows how to merge 2 seperate tables on Microsoft words, running on XP, version confirmed not 98 but not sure what(dumbassed officer doesn't know)

  with that illustration, i can only advise copy and paste one table to another, which i believe u have tried before..

  sorry i meant putting 2 separate tables together, one on top of the other, to make them seem like one.

  try create a new blank sheet and copy both the table in to the new sheet.
  
  press afew enter key on the new sheet and copy the two tables in between the enter, try not to use the last enter sign, then merge or you can don't merge, when printing you might not able to tell is 2 tables

  Erm... just delete the space between the tables till they lie on top of each other. Then just adust the column widths so that they look equal.

  tried also... cannot... it'll jump itself up to the top of the table on top, and overlie, so u have a jumble of 2 tables overlapping each other... and then somehow got a invisible spacing which i cannot select or remove... very infurating.

  with assumption that you have same number of columns in both tables, below are the steps i could advise:
  
  - copy and paste the second table right below the first one.
  - delete the space in between until they're joined.
  - adjust each column width (by adjust the border line, not by the top ruler) so that it matches exactly across both tables.
  - once this is done, your table is completely joined as one.

  Assuming that the table is spread from page one to page 2 and you wish to detach the table so that table in page 1 is not related to the table in page 2 then
  1.) Go to the row in the table that you wish detach to be in page 2.
  2.) Click on the drop-down menu (Insert)
  3.) Click on
  4.) Select Page Break
  
  You can see a column break there also but not tried before maybe you can try?

  Assuming you wish to merge tables from Page 1 to Page 2 then the easy way is to:
  1.) Delete the spaces between the 2 tables. This would bring the 2 tables together.

  OK old school method - print out everything, cut and paste properly on A4 paper (yes with scissors and glu!), photocopy as handouts or on OHP slides

  here's another one.. cut and paste both tables into excel..
  then cut and paste the combined table back to word..
