Ever wonder why ABCDEF are used to define bra sizes?

How come some got 33 then got C , D , E , F ..then some got 36 C , D , E , F ??
So......if 33F looks bigger or 36C ??
This is one thing I really , really not too sure , in fact , don't know at all !!
Anyone can enlighten my doubts ?

B - Barely
C -Can Do
D - Damn Big

ok, lemme make a guess ... ABC are not used to define bra size, rather is to define CUP size ...
the numbers are to define the dimension of the straps around the upper torso. Since numbers are already used for this, alphabets are then used to define the cup size ... right ladies?
but then I do not understand how they relate the alphabets to the cup size ... interesting eh ... -

Is it meaning ....the Circumference of the whole breast ? ( is circumference the best word to use here ? )
Like if one lady is the "papaya" type , she could be the D one ?
If one is the Samantha Fox type , mean she's the F type ?
So.....is it they measure from the nipples to the chest level ? -

I think the key word is "proportion"
numbers refer 2 chest measurement
whereas cup refers to volume of breast
i think shape of breasts isn't that important
32A n 34A might have the same cup size
but with the difference in frame size
a 34A looks slightly bigger as compare to a 32A
of cos we must also consider the overall size of the lady in question
a medium size lady with 34A will not look as spectacular as a small size one with 32A, rite??? -
