Yes I have been to tahiti before. Its wonderful! Went to Bora Bora island and stayed at Inter Continental Resort Bora Bora. Got one of those rooms in the middle of the sea. You know the glass coffee table in the room can be looked through to the sea and you can lift it up and throw food to the fishes! room services they row a sampan to your door step! from room can see manta ray and all sort of fishes hehehe. You have to catch a plane to Tahithi then from there get a sea plane transfer to the island of your package. Went there with family last year. it cost from US$999 to god know how much (depending on the activities like scuba diving, ray feeding, fishing or boat ride) There are 7 islands to choose or you can have a combination. The more branded the hotel the more expansive like hilton will cost more. get the midle range one is good.
