Why do people here like to stare at each other?

  On the streets when you walking,quite often got people(of the same sex)"tiao"3 or stare at you? I been overseas before and people just give you one look and look another way unlike here,even those with "guai lan" face also don't tiao3 you.But over here,can tiao all the way,especially in places such as gyms and swimming pools...

  Same same... maybe I have a "black" face most of the time. Sometimes they give me a friendly look, so fine with me.
