God angry with women who wear pants - king

MBANGWENI - Women who wear pants are a curse before God, the king has said.

He said God is angry with women for not doing what the Bible said.

This was said during the Ascension Day prayer meeting at Mbangweni Residence where the king was represented by Prince Maguga, the double chief of Macetjeni and KaMkhweli.

Â“The Bible says curse be unto a woman who wears pants and those who wear their husbandÂ’s clothes. That is why the world is in such a state and the majority of these women who wear pants are not responsible,Â” he said.

He said some of them give birth, dump their children with their mothers, and go to towns to start life all over again.

He said to show that women were responsible for bad things, now they were preaching the gospel of human rights.

Â“What rights? God created people and He gave them their roles in society, you cannot change what God has created. This is abominable before God,Â” he said.

He said parents were responsible for failing to instil good values in their children.

The prince also said Christians should be grateful to the angel that appeared to King Somhlolo for the great vision, hence all the kings after him are still following his steps. He said such gatherings in other countries were not recognised by the heads of state but in Swaziland the people, together with the royalty, meet each and every year to celebrate the greatness of God.

Before he said this, one of the pastors, Reverend Seth Dlamini, during the sermon stated that women who wear pants were a curse as well as men who wear female clothes.

Pastor Richard Sikhondze said only God can resolve the current crisis in the country and also solve individual problems.

Bishop Grace Mavimbela said some pastors were not acceptable before God and others were drunkards.
