sucky teachers/tutors/lecturers..have u met any?

i think the singapore teachers just absolutely suck big time!
i had this tutor who deemed my questions too trival and that i should be looking for the answers myself instead. i was certainly very insulted!
and my poor brother in lower secondary school does all his research himself and does presentation in class. when the teacher is queried with many questions, he told them to put the questions to the group presenting and that it was the job of that group to find out!
ok i understand that spooon feeding is no good but teachers who are absolutely skiving on their jobs in the name of independent thinking and research, on top of piling demeaning insults on students are just being scums. -
teachers are brought up in the old mode of learning: spoon-feeding.
Creative thinking and learning is something very new and many teachers are not able to grabble with it yet...
It takes time, like the adoption of IT by schools, and some teachers are still not comfortable to use IT to teach yet...
Teachers are not sage...dun expect them to know everything too.

No doubt many things have been complaint abt; he should not simple step in and change everything in such a short time...it create lots of controversy, lots of undue worries too...
Yes, it is correct to put right what had gone wrong... but pace is something he has to grabble with...it is not MAS in MOE...

one of my poly tutor who is bald, mid-forties, he GIVE high marks for presentation to those gals with cleavages.......... low cut and short skirt...
too many lecherous one la... but there's still some good one out there...

When I was in Poly, I have one rather young male lecturer, in his late twenties but has a doctorate from Imperial College. He is the most struck up person I ever seen in my life. When you ask him questions, he sneer at you for asking stupid questions and ask you to find yourself. But when a girl with a pretty ask him, he bring her to his room to dicuss the problem. And worst of all, he never look at you in his eyes when he is teaching, his head and nose are so high above that I suspect he thinks we some kind of dung. I hope he burns in hell.

Tis incident happen when i was in p4. My mother hired tis tutor to my hse. Its a lady. For my age at tat time she shld be ard mid-twenties. NV will i FORGET her lookz. haha... whenever she teach n got irritated.. she will start scoldin n use her finger to keep pushing my head. GOD damn hard. Nt only 1 time she stop but continue till she finish her lecturing.

Y i failed.. becos whenever i need a explaination about that subject. She will say dunno how to do your OWN ar. Y u so stupid... Even she explain also lyk "bui kam wan" ... (tt's when i grow up i noe wat type of attitude she gave me). -
