  It is now not mandatory to for a lady to be called a Mrs when she is married....
  
  Very common mah. Also at work, somehow when you are called a Mrs people have a impression that you are more family oriented and less career minded. Which may not be a good thing.

  last time my teacher is Ms Ng.....then she got married ot Mr Chong......we still continue to call her Ms Ng cos used to it oredi.....she oso neber geh-gao
  
  then i got another teacher.....know her as Ms Choong for 2 years......then after we left the school.....got one time we had a BBQ gathering then she pua news to us tt she been married long ago.......tua us for 2 yrs..........hahahahaha
