well I think ur fren just dun wanna take the risk... there are a lot of consequences, they just dun fine u on the spot, from what I heard, for each disc that they found, they will fine u 500, VCDs usually come in 2 disc, dat's why it's 1000. and they dun stop at that, they will issue a warrant, come to your house and check too. yes, I have friend who got caught before, luckily he dun have any at his home, just got fined 1000, would u dare to take the risk? fuh... 1000 u could have bought lots of originals... dun be stupid mate.
