  Why It Is Wrong:
  1. Genetic problems resulting from inbreeding. (Main Concern, and for crying out loud, its not mental defect, it is genetic defect, they may be bloody genius btw.. becuz of defects, or their immune system may be weak, etc.)
  2. It is a bad habit in general, leading to above. It is not a case by case issue. (Secondary Concern.)
  
  Why It Is Okay:
  1. Communities in rural nations, races, religion, whatever, does inbreeding, that means the people only marry related people within a small circle of relatives or people or gene pool. Dr. Mahathir onced attributed the malays' so-called weakness to this reason.
  2. Love Over Everything, well, if you are into love stories, and believe that love is everything.. etc etc, its okay for you?
  
  Things that shouldn't be considered:
  1. Society and Culture, it is subjective, some societies may allow marriage of close blood ties. Tell that it is wrong to a village of 100 people in some distant African country which does not allow people to marry outsiders at all, doesn't make sense to them.
  2. Religion, another highly subjective reason, one religion differs from another. One's God may be different from another's God, same as above.
