Lp aint boring.. They're just SIMPLE... True.. They play crappy guitar stuff.. Sorry to burst the bubble of the fans here but mainstream music is just lame..LP's music is based on computer generated samples which they further mutate it to make it sound gd.. They take way too damn long to create an album.. pLus, the songs are like..what.. averaging abt 3 mins only?! Wth?
The lyrics are plain childish.. The guitars work on powerchords..The bassline is sooo simple! But i like Chester's voice and rob's drumming on "easier to run" 
They do sound good though. But I rather take the money and go invest it on better talents.. Speaking of which.. Steve Vai's coming to singapore come july.. booked my tickets already.. $120.. well-worth..Originally posted by ToLox: -

Metallica AIN'T ROCK... The New Metallica are nu-metal now.. But the old Metallica(b4 signing with MTV) was Metal.. Kick-ass, good old speed/trash metal at it's very best..Back to the days where C.burton and D.Mustaine were in the group. The guitars were heavy.. They had the Bass-god in there too.. They were fast.. They were melodic.. Long hair, alcohol-abusing, head-banging.. Sighz.. till they began selling out.. They'll be sadly missed.. i think someone mentioned that "tallica's working on new studio material.. and they'll sound just like their roots.. yay!
Erm...They cant play the guitar properly? Define properly dude? I would say their technical abilities and melodic approach in guitar , or their individual instruments for that matter, couldnt hold a candle to the artists i'm listening to now.. music has different genres n most music composed are pop.. i think that makes sense of what you are trying to say and no matter what nu-metal is nu-metal not pop. i cant say you are a dog when you are a human right.......
