I have seen the rape threads and honestly I find the threads so lame. I also see that the thread could have been phrased differently to avoid so much backlash. As in many things in life: you don't choose it, it chooses you.
I don't think people wake up one day and decide: "I want to be gay." or "I want to be a pedophile." or "I want to be a sadist."
Somehow people just become like that and while we can send people into space we can't understand how this happens.
Only thing we do is punish or ostracise these people.
Maybe what science can do is send all the gays, pedophiles and other sexual deviants into space! -
