The packaging going to change and now all trying to clear the old stock. That why almost all prize went down. If not wrong by AUG 1st all will be back to the same prize again. After AUG 1st any store spot selling the old packaging will be fine.

Every time smokers in Singapore reach for a cigarette, they will see graphic colour images of a cancerous lung, a dying baby, a brain oozing blood or a patient on his death bed in Singapore's latest drive to cut smoking, a newspaper said on Tuesday
Starting in August, the six images to be printed on cigarette packages will also include diseased gums and a family suffering secondhand smoke in silence, The Straits Times reported.
Tobacco companies were given a year to implement the new rules after they were passed in parliament in August.
Below the images will be written health warnings such as "Smoking can cause a slow, painful death" and "Smoking harms your family." -

i think 8.50 is very expensive. imagine a person smoking 3 packets of ciggies a day, it's like watching 3 movies in the weekend.
