Novena church is a catholic church.Catholics do not pray to mother mary.They ask mother mary to pray for them.There is a big difference between praying to mother mary and asking mother mary to pray for you.Catholics still pray to Jesus.

Christians have something called 'street witnessing', that's when they start converting ppl to their religion. Some may have quotas to meet, that's why they can be more persistent than a car salesman.
Also, Catholics do NOT pray to Jesus lao bu, only his lao peh. The novena church is called Church of St Alphonses, think I spelt it wrongly tho.
Altho they do the saturday devotion to V. Mary, they do not pray to Mary. The redemptorists just want to take a different approach to bring the good news to more ppl, without going to mrt stations and bus stops of course.
