They go thru so much, to conceive us in their stomach, then give birth, then nuture us...
2dae i saw a video on people givin birth...
So scary!!! The vagina can dilate until so big... Then the baby's head, slowly slowy squeeze out... First is the top part of the head... So big liao... Then the circumference of the head... Tat is the biggest... After the baby's head is out, the rest come out very easy leh... Everybody knows tat the newborn the head so quite big, squeese all the way out of the small vagina hole...
Scary leh... Yucks! Looks so painful! Ouch...
Somemore if the vagina not big enough, they will jus inject a local anaesthesia to it, then use a scissor to cut in bigger... After the birth, then will stitch it back again... Eee... -
I agree 100% with you. The vagina is really amazing ... I once saw one puff 2 cigarettes at a little dingy taiwan hotel room a few years ago and was amazed.
Y'know with regular exercise and proper lubrication giving birth may not be a messy and painful affair at all ...

still, first birth is the worst of all and ur goona have complications and problems if the legs come out first i heard!
te pain i can imagine.....just glad that i am born a man.....2.5 years of NS means nothing compared to that! so dun complain when they say women need not serve NS is unfair to men in Sg. -

Ya... i think is a must to shave the pubic hair... Coz it will be obstructin with the birth canal when the child is delivering...
Another is tat... Coz the vagina will ownelf contracts and goes back to its orginal size... Jus tat unless a cut is done, they will only sew back the area tat is cut ba...
The doc if so careless, over sew!

Some women will lose their sex drive after birth.... depends on the psychological state of the mama.
And it doesn't stop after the baby is born... usually the mama will have menstruation( wonder if it's menstruation...i only know she will continue to bleed from her vagina) for days or even up to 1 or 2 weeks.( heard from my friends' exp.
Then they will have to go through 1 month confinement period.... eating lots of ma you chicken, zhu jiao chu, ginger, tonics, red date tea...blah blah blah.... Anything that is nourishing to the mama and not "cold".
Then old ppl will say cannot shower and wash hair. (Old wive's tale) Y leh... hmmmzzz... not too sure... only know it's not good for the mama's health in future.... mayb will have rheuthesiam?
But the 1 month confinement period is the period when the mama have to really take care of herself.... try to rest and rest..... whether the body can recover fully depend on this 1 month. These are all experience i heard from my friends who have given birth...... and i have at least 10 friends who are mama already

Ten month pregnancies very long....but the wait is worth it...
when the baby is born, the satisfaction is worth it.
