suggestions to moderators

please exercise your wisdom and authority and do something about obviously outrageous topics? i understand if you allow some free speech, but to allow topics with titles that destroys people's reputation? i mean, the title for god's sake.. is it possible to prevent people from posting in outrageous topics with titles which tarnishes others' reputations? just close such topics la?

All forumites can help by ignoring those flaming threads and not post any comments in it. The thread will then die a fast natural death

you want to see examples of topics which tarnishes others' reputation? what about the one where certain forumite post slanderous topics of pipi and neontera? i know him personally, even if he don't get pissed, i do.
and yes, i agree that moderators cannot be around all the time. but now i'm telling you, there are such topics. now do something about it.
you ban people, they of course will kao bei, but i trust that you judge fairly as a moderator which topic goes over the line.
i don't really care about generic topics like some dumb posters who talk about sex, or who loves to sniff underwear or whatever.
but to start slanderous topics. thats way over the line, i believe you as a moderator will agree right? so how?
