Cross-dressing in SG

  I spent considerably amount of time in HK because of my work. Every now and then, I will see a guy dressing up as a women in public places. Just wondering in SG, have you guys/gals seen any and is it legal to do it in SG?

  I've come across many. In fact, many is an understatement.
  
  I come across one almost every day.
  
  First of all, there is no law restricting the preference for garments between both sexes as long they are not exposing indecently their private parts.
  
  It's quite common to see a butch, a she-male along Orchard. In fact, I pass by a common group of trannies every weekday.

  Fireice is a crossdresser. And there are many more like her in Singapore. But there is nothing wrong with crossdressers, they are people too, right Fireice?

  haha girls wearing guys clothes is common...but guys wearing girls stuff isn't very nice...cos the cut all different and then can see the guy's body shape...sibei er xin larh

  So there seem to be no law forbidding cross-dressing (freedom of expression?) I suppose if women dressed up as men, it called fashion. But when men dressed up as women, it's entirely another matter.

  well we are opening up slowly , slowly all segements of the population are getting their voices heard...
  recently we had the gay/lesbian bash which was an interesting event. But when it comes to cross dressing well I suppose we all have been brought up with the notion that men dont wear skirts... but perhaps over time it could be overcome ??
