.....do you lock the door when you're peeing, shitting, bathing etc. or do you just close it or even leave it open?

Err usually left ajar or open.

I close the door, weld the hinges shut via plate steel. Nail the wood parts shut with wood and screws. Draw twin metal chains over and fasten it with an abloy lock. I then put my dog outside chained to the door knob to guard outside. THen i black out the windows and draw the curtains.

The important point is that u can peep and peep at the right place when u need to. That is the main objective isn't it????
