He made massive headlines at the turn of the new millennium, grabbing the Best International DJ and Best Remix (Green VelvetÂ’s Flash) at the Muzik Awards. Voted Number 1 in the DJ magazine poll and receiving the Dancestar Lifetime Achievement Award in 2001, he was honoured with the Best DJ Award at the Miami Conference, and Best DJ set at the Pacha DJ Awards in Ibiza in 2002.
