  Chinablack and Double O both were pretty alright till they lowered the age limit to 18.. now its jam pack with adolescents discovering the 'wonders' of clubbing and horny bastards hoping to get lucky.. hah..
  you see, a one off cover 20 bucks (no complementary drinks!) and 'cheap' drinks along with the commercial music they play, i.e. retro and remixed top 40s which appeals to the masses.. its probably very profitable for the holdings...
  well, then again one man's meat is another man's poison.. and for me my poison will be Zouk.. = )

  went to newsroom,but find thatthe dj dun hav a theme tothe music and anyhow play....duno he wants retro or top 40s..hais..
  mdm wong too pack,with small kids behind the 2nd potion of it....u walk pass and they will try to sian u...too cheap pickup lines...

  dbl 0 is the current hot spot for army boys to go. cheap booz...pretty gals.
  
  if u want to see older guys in black, pls dun try the dance floor. they are never there. and yes, black used to be up there, not anymore, thats y wong san group opened thumper.
  
  newsroom? i have to really agree with u, but surprisingly, the champion for the bar top dancing competition is from newsroom.
  
  mdm wong? weds are good. friday. just stay away from the hot spots.
