What happened to Toyota Corona?

  Well ..i love those cabbies.....Hope they live longer..
  
  only Comfort and black taxi have this vehicle...the engine sound is my favourite.The Seat is comfortable.

  That one is Yellow Top (Indv one, not the ones under ComfortDelGro)... But now is thr Crown era... BTW, Crown is made for taxis as it is disel powered

  Those Coronas are awful.Small and cramped, with poor seats that are not plush nor supportive.2.0L engine feels too weak at times.What's so great about it?

  Well..those vehicle are quite comfortable...luv their Gear style.BTW for me is their vehicle althought they are the oldest taxi here..they are still good.

  Hmm, only thing I ever liked about them is their acceleration.They can be quite nimble.

  just board the cab on comfort .I liked the interior.Small but comfortable.

  There were very few of them left on my last trip home. I read that a record number of taxis were scrapped last year. Wouldn't be surprised if those were the Coronas.

  Toyota Coronas are abt to collect their CPFs,
  and not much replacement models, as compared to Corollas. Perhaps due to Operators favouring the larger 2.0cc Corollas, instead of the 1.6 Coronas??

  Is it? The number of Corolla taxis is still very small if compared to the Crowns and the Nissan Cedrics.

  the coronas are very old already.. old, small and a bit filthy.. the crowns are nicer but is an eyesore with som manu on the roads.

  One of the worst I've driven .
  
  Basically vomit blood . Simply no power .
  
  Corona's steering steer already , your hands and fingers sure become muscular .
  
  I drove Corona for 9 mths , before scrap . After driving , sure got shoulder ache , neck ache , back ache , legs ache , basically whole body ache after driving Corona . Money earn from Corona not enough to go for a decent massage .
  
  Drive Corona vomit blood , because if competes with Crown for a passenger infront , this customer sure gone . Acceleration pick up lousy la !
  
  Vomit blood ! Some customer siam Corona , wait at road side , see me come , act blur , don't flag , flag behind Crown !
