Some SMRT taxis got SHC rego

SHC number plate is available liao .
CityCab one starts first SHC-1 .....Comfort one is SHC-10xx onwards ....SMRT one never seen before .
They're not new fleet of taxis on the road . They're replacement cabs for the scrapped ones .
Comfort and Yellow Top company has many taxi scrapped before their 8 years life-span .
The last one I heard , comfort scrapped a 6 years old cab , took back some COE rebate and brought in a new one , with a lower COE . -
Are taxi rego numbers recycled? I have seen new modelled taxis with SH plates many occasions.
