The Kia Magentis CRDi taxi operated by Premier Taxis that I saw recently looks absolutely cool!! But are you sure the taxi sign at the top is blue in colour? I thot I saw silver colour..haha..but anyways, the Kia Magentis CRDi and the Hyundai Sonata CRDi taxis should be VERY similar..Kia is under Hyundai and both the Magentis and Sonata uses the same platform..even the engine is the same "CRDi" engine..Heard that the engine is powerful with lots of low-down torque..Originally posted by Superbus:Has the old blue "Taxi" whatever-it-is-known, in contrast to the new computerised ones.

Yeap it's blue. I've a picture to prove it. Haha..guess I was confused..I think it's the old type blue-coloured taxi sign but with silver words for the word "TAXI"..

Oops..sorry! The taxi sign on the Kia Magentis IS really silver with blue words for the word "TAXI"..lol..

Of cuz they don't use the electronic displays..cuz these Magentis and Camry taxis are supposed to be their "normal" taxis just like the venerable Toyota Crown taxis..haha..that's why they use the old-fashioned display, although it looks quite cool in silver colour..lol..but funny that flag-down rate is higher than the Toyota Crowns when they are in about the same level as the Crowns..probably because rent more expensive cuz the cars more expensive to buy than the Crowns..lol..Originally posted by 105090:even the Camry also had the silver TAXI sign... funny why they dont use the electronic display..

An unidentified Transcab had its rear badly "kissed" by a Hyundai Trajet in the middle lane of SLE at around 10am this morning, no one was injured & a recovery truck was parked behind both vehicles

An unidentified Comfort Toyata Crown was involved in an accident with a weekend car at the junction of Upper Changi Rd & Simei Ave at about 0700hrs this morning...parts from both vehicles were all over the road & ambulance assistance was not required as there were no injuries concerning both drivers...
Unsure if the taxi at that time was ferrying any passenger(s) & both vehicles were still spotted at scene together with the TP at 0845hrs... -
