$45 is actually correct. since he advance booked the cab, this means $5 charged already. I am puzzled here because when you are at Kota Raya, there will guarantee be some Singapore Taxis parked at the carpark, and the cabbies will be at the canteen waiting for customers.
The fare from Kota Raya to any location in Singapore is $40 flat. Same as the yellow Malaysian taxis which parks at Queen Street. (also $40 according to Poolman)
and it seems the $45 isnt worth it eh? Since its only to Woodlands Ave 3.. very near to Causeway. Could had told cabby to takem you to a Island tour before dropping you at Woodlands..
You should had taken a bus back to Singapore, with the hassle of course.. $45 is just too unreasonable, soe more see those "lazy" cabbies just sit there and wait for customers to slaughter..
But afterall, the choice is yours
