Volvos and opel? i heard they are on trials arent they?Originally posted by hseochin:For me, only the M-B taxis are seriously worth riding on !
Next would be the Opels & Volvo that's about it.
London Cab maybe the newer version only & the rest, quite simply a pile of junk which i don't find worth my fare !
For utimate running smoothness, i select the E 300 where the inline-6 cylinder 24-valve diesel sounds not too different from a petrol engine of the same cylinder count & cc when accelerating or crusing !
The E 250, with its inline-5 cylinder 20-valve or 10-valve (depending on series) both come next in 'refinement' levels.
The latest E 220 although less 'refined' with only 4-cylinders 16-valves but overall is well compensated with its very extensive technological improvements over the earlier models above such that overall, still a finer class of engine & car than the other taxis here.
Citycab used to have Opels. SO did Comfort. THose belonging to the latter were station wagons.Originally posted by SBS9828X:Volvos and opel? i heard they are on trials arent they?![]()
THere are countless Falcons cruising the streets in Perth. Besides having more powerful engines than the Toyotas and Nissans, they are also auto-geared.Originally posted by LazerLordz:MB E300 or E220 CDI.
The E250 IMHO is noisy.
Get the LPG powered Falcons and Commodores here![]()
