SMRT organising a recruitment drive for taxi drivers

Was walking by Novena MRT today when I saw a roadshow by SMRT recruiting Taxi Drivers...I noticed that the recruites also very bored...nothing much to do.

wa lau.. a while ppl say too many taxis on the road, now they want to recruit some more cabbies..

no wonder.. look what pic i got.. a trailer of new cabs! (Silvercab).
even saw another trailer of new TRANSCAB today.. and now SMRT is beefing up the heat!

They are recruiting cabbies 'cos many of their existing cabbies submit their "resignation" .
SMRT has got alot of non-taken taxis in their back-yard . In thousands form .
They have to do it .
All thanks to those new taxi company for giving better perks renting out their taxis !
If I'm not wrong here , SMRT got stuck with un-rented taxis the most ...... then CityCab .... then Comfort ....then Silver & Smart , lastly TransCab . -
SilverCab currently offers the best drivers' benefit among the taxi companies , that's why u see some new taxis coming in trailers after trailers .
Somehow it's a chain reaction thing , one company got new hirers , the other taxi company will get a hirer less . It's a small circle .
Taxi drivers are circulating among taxi companies .
Who offers better perks and rewards get us . -
