Switch from Diesel to CNG Fails to Click

  Toyota supplied a trial fleet of Toyota Crown cabs, powerd by CNG, in March 2003. However, it has since been shipped back to Japan recently.
  
  CNG taxis can only travel 250km while their diesel counterparts can clocxk 500km between refuelling
  
  Reasons:
  only one refuelling station (in Jurong Island)
  Expensive to maintain
  
  Looks like Diesel and Petrol are here to stay and kill our pockets.

  petrol/ diesel brings more revenue and profits to governement and the money sucking petrol companies, so of cos they are reluctant to promote it..
  
  they say its like a chicken and egg approach.. dun know how it links..
  
  still, CNG wont take off so soon, unless petrol hits $3/ litre? (dun think its possible)

  CITYCAB has 3 CNG taxis that time.. all were introduced in March 2003.
  one of the reg was SHB4899S (Toyota Crown)
