wat does it mean when the sign put "busy"?
sometimes i see many cabs coming my way.....at first is for hire.....then when i flag it jumps to "busy", then driver treat me as invisible and drive past me w/o even looking at me.....

They maybe changing shifts or purposely select their routes to pick up

taxi driver dun wan fetch u also ll..u complain he give some stupid reason u also ll..soo just bear with it..its life..

You know why YTC and Comfort have the the electronic disply? Its once said that so that cabbies cant abuse the system, but then, the BUSY explains otherwise.
BUSY means the cabby isnt interested in picking up any passengers currently. Has his own business to settle. like pump diesel, go for break, or other things -

still, AM Peak, taxis arent really guaranteed even if u called, but then, since your destinations are quite far, it doesnt explains... -

taxi drivers aren't paid by the taxi companies to attend to your needs..in fact majority of them would love business,i believe you are suay..

Apparently, say the current booking is $4, the company only keeps 50cent, the cabby keeps the rest, that is $3.50! so attractive also dont want!
