so when the cab is BUSY means canont accept any bookings? (curent/advance)? then how about HIRED or NOT FOR HIRE or CHANGE SHIFT status?
When Comfort taxis roof-top is "Busy" , no call will come in for bidding . Only once in a while , an advance booking for tmr's booking to A/port !
As for "Hired" , it's an option for drivers , they can choose to activate "Can-bid" , meaning ,for example , if I have a customer on board to Takashimaya taxi stand , on the way , if Takashimaya do have a customer urgently need and "on-call" a cab , we can do a bidding , if we got the job , so has when this current on board customer alight , this "on-call" customer can hop in liao .
Very rare so heng one .
"Chang shift to Toa Payoh" , the call will still come in as usual .
Comfort taxis doesn't have "Not for Hire" orange cover .
"Not For Hire" orange covers only for CityCab , SilverCab , TransCab , SMRT and SmartCab . They seldom use ,very lay-cher to change up-and-down . Usually what they did if they are busy , they use the conventional way , hang a plastic "On-Call " infront of the wind screen , either way , bid call or really busy , not taking customers .
