  your office near any hotels or not? If have can go hotels lobby and try, normally hotels drop passengers and leave empty handed.

  I know wat happen liao. All these cabbies companies using/sharing the same system for taxis booking? Correct me if I'm wrong.
  
  And this state-of-the-art system breaks down/malfunction. Thats why they as well hang up the phone lines.
