A bit related to the topic:
The other time, when i return to SG and i was @ Terminal 2. The taxi stand there so crowded BUT mostly Singaporeans while MRT no ppl take. There oso got a lot of taxi queueing up but @ the rate it is moving its quite fast with around 7 lots for taxi to standby. I took a Comfort Cab and return to my house around Eunos there and the fare was $8.70. The cabby face not black and he happily brought down all luggages and waved goodbye to us. If i aint wrong, we tipped him $0.30 and he was very happy(that was after bringing down all the luggages.
Well, can customers ask for a refund from SMRT taxis if the cabbies pull long faces @ them and dont tip them and give bad service attitude? -

yeah. if the taxi queue is moving at a fast rate, means shorter time to get customer, then some cabbies wont really mind doing a few trips to and from the airport.
so an eunos trip is quite reasonable for both parties

That customer saw me , a bit shock to see me smile when he said Pasir Ris , i never gave him any reason .
He later complaint to me got once he took a SMRT Merc Cab from T2 to P.Ris , he very tulan when the Lady Merc Driver used Walkie Talkie to tell her friend she " kiam " la , " No luck " la " sway " la , etc negative comments , he nearly complain to LTA . I smile all the way from T2 to P.Ris .
The main reason I smile 'cos when this guy walked towards my cab from the taxi stand , i knew he never stay far from T2 , 'cos this guy a " Cabin Crew " .
Cabin crew never stay too far from T2 .
Just tough luck when u pick a Cabin Crew . -

cabbies know when is the peak period for planes to arrive in SG lah. even the airport cleaner knows. correct not, Poolman?
if i'm at the airport, i try to take the bus home ah.. but some time last year, my dad came back from his mini-haj in Mecca, we took a cab and paid the driver $15. Tampines St 21. he quite happy with it.
having separate taxi queues is a no-no. if you take a taxi and the driver use the walkie-talkie and say to his friend he unlucky ah, wad lah. you should complain.. -
