Afternoon downpours mean record bookings for ComfortDelGro

SINGAPORE : The recent heavy afternoon downpours may be creating woes for commuters but one cab company is certainly singing in the rain.
ComfortDelGro's group of taxi companies, which include Comfort, CitiCab and Yellow-Top, saw a record number of 75,000 call bookings made in a single day.
This was on January 12, one of the wettest days so far this year.
The weatherman says Singapore will continue to have heavy rain in the afternoons over the next few days. - CNA /ct -

I'm not being arrogant about taxi bookings , although Comfort has got a $4.00 booking tag sometimes of the day , they are still the prefered taxi company by commuters .
Those SMRT la , Silver la , TransCab la , Samrt la , they perform like a back-up for Comfort , most commuters call them only when they can't get a Comfort .
One obvious reason , commuters never disappointed booking a comfort cab , generally , within 5 minutes the cab will be there . -

i had to call 5 times
either lumber busy or finally get thru liao then have to keep waiting and waiting and they say cannot locate a cab..... -

Whatever place u are , ur place seemed a ulu place , meaning like Woodland , woodlands day time jialat to get a cab most times . Everyday , from 8am til 12pm , jialat place .
